Blossom Box

I simply love this new die in the catalogue called Blossom Box!

I made 12 of these for the girls at Convention...

I just added the flower with a ribbon attached that tied off to the side. Inside were some peppermint patties.

I will be playing with this die more for sure!!

MDS pages...

Hi there!

Today I have a couple of My Digital Studio pages to share with you...

This is out first day in Disney World this past April. I rained so hard that day, I just had to craete a "Rain page"

These were super fast to complete. I used the torn edge stamp at the top to craete the look of clouds and then Iused the oval punch and I "stretched" it out to make it look like large rain drops. When I washappy with the shape< i just copy and patsed them all over my pages.

Disney page 7-001

For the right side of my "Two-page spread".... i just love the picture of Amanda with her quarter, wishing for sun in the Swan fountain of our hotel. It worked because the next day it was sunny and hot!! :)

Disney page 7-002

Hope your having a great day so far!!

Monogram tag and Gum holder ...

Hi there!

I have  a couple of 3-D projects to share with you today.

The first is a fun Monogram tag that my friend Kristine Burns gave me at Convention to wear on my Convention bag. I was so touched that she would make this for me!!

It features one of the new In colors ... Calypso Coral. I just love this color and the new ruffled ribbon..I love it!!!! Thanks again Kristine!!

My other project share for today is a gum holder made by Jenn Hampikian. I didin't realize it had gum in inside until I returned home... I had a laugh because at a couple of different times I wished I had gum... I didn't realize that one of my swaps that I was carrying had a full pack of gum inside! LOL!

Here's the inside when you take off the belly band..

"See you tomorrow!"

Day 4!!!

Wow! Day 4.. our last day!!

What a fun and exciting few days. I am always so tired both physically (from lack of sleep) and mentally (from all the creative inspration) by the last day of Convention!!

This last day was great! There were make and takes, general seesion, the wonderful new Holiday Mini (wait till you see it!!!!) and best of all  free product give aways!!

At the beginning of this Genaeral session my friends and I enjoyed some dancing to the Stampin Up! band.  The band is made up of all Stampin Up! employees and Boy! These guys (and gals) are good!

During general session, we even had a visit from Santa himself!! Sorry for the blurry picture!

Carrey Cudney and Shannon west wowed us big time with their product demonstrations! I can't wait to put some classes together for the fall with these ideas!!!

Here's a look at the birthday cake Carrrey Cudney made with Hershey Chocolates!! I love it!!

Of course Convention could not end without one big prize give away from Shelli!!! Here I am with Cheryl, holding our new goodies!!

I still have tons of ideas to share with you from Convention. i think I could post everyday for a few months and never run out of ideas. Can you see why my head is bursting! LOL!!!!!

Take Care!

Day 3 !!

Hi there!

Day three was fun, Fun , Fun!!

There were fun classes, amazing presentations, announcements, inspiring projects and that was just during the day!! :)

One of the fun things about Convention is walking across the stage for sales, recruiting, Leadership and also earning the Incentive trip! Here's quick shot of me as I walked for recruiting. It sure is hot up there. LOL!!!

Now... you know that this was a great moment for me!! I met up with my Idol ...Heather Summers!! We actually stayed at the same hotel. She is soooo sweet!! This year she placed # 1 Demo in Canada!!! Congratulations Heather!! You are so deserving of this award!!

Now for some stamping inspiration... in the evening we had the opportunity to sign up for a special class of our choice. I chose to do the class called Village of Cuteness. Here's the outside of the bag that was STUFFED with product!!!

Here's what we got to make!!! A "village" of three very fun wooden houses all decorated with Stampin Up! product! Just click on the picture to get a closer look at these cute little houses!

Do you like??? If so, I will be doing this exact project as a class in October. Stay tuned for all the details here on my blog!

See ypu tomorrow with Day 4 highlights!!

Day Two at Convention!!

Hi there!

Day number two at Convention did not disappoint!! We had tons of fun classes, two General Sessions, Free stuff from Stampin up! and lots of laughs with friends!! Love it!!

General Session opened with the theme song "Grow, Grow, grow" You can hear it on the video from my post two days ago. This was a great theme song and it got everyone on their feet and filled with excitement!

The stage was amazing as the word "Grow" changed color right before our eyes and each day it got bigger too!!

One of the best things about Convention is all the free stuff we get, here I am with my new Simply Sent kit! Love it!!

After our classes, we all met up for or Annual supper at the Olive garden. Yumm!

Here we are...It sure was great to have a few laughs over dinner!!

Here we are later in the evening doing our "Shoebox Swap" ...

Check out some of the cool display boards... I will have more of these over the next little while!

Have a great evening!!

Day 1 Convention highlights

Day one at Convention started bright and early with everyone heading to the Convention Center to get their Convention bags filled with free stamp sets!!

My good friend Lisa and her downline from Lethbridge stayed in the room right next door to me at the hotel and they were so nice to include me in on all their activities!! They even invited me to drive everyday with them to the Convention center! What a treat to not have to worry about catching the shuttle or walking in the blazing heat! thanks so much Lisa!!!

Here's a shot of all the girls... thanks so much ladies!!! I had a blast with you all... my face still hurts from all the laughing!!!

I also had the pleasure of catching up with some good friends form Calgary on this trip as well! These ladies were also so nice to offer for me to share a room with them. But with 5 ladies already in a room, I thought I would make it too complicated for us all to get reday in the morning. :) Lisa and her girls also invited me to stay with them. Such great girls! Su! demos rock!!

Here's a fun picture of Allison from Calgary just getting her Convention bag and goodies ....Can you tell she's excited?? LOL!!

Here's Kristine Burns also from Calgary with her loot!!

Next we headed to the Awards booth where we got more stamp sets for recruiting and sales. Then we went to check out Momento mall. Always a highlight for me... and this year I spent the most ever!!! :)

They had these cool umbrellas with Su! print on them so we all had to get a picture! Here's me and Lisa having fun... Check out the cool rubber boots... although they didn't have these for sale.

Next we all headed to Riverton to visit the Stampin up! home office. We got such a warm welcome!!This building is so beautiful!! This is where they package and ship all our orders and where the creative genius people design our stamp sets.

Then we spent the afternoon shopping and then back to the hotel for supper and the girls had made some cool flowers for us to decorate hats to wear to the Garden party back at the Convention centre.

Here's a picture of Lisa and Sherri busy "glu gunning" the flowers to the hats that we bought from the dollar store.

Here we are in the car on our way to the party...

What fun we had... here we are at the garden party

We got lots of "Stamped" inspiration this evening with all the demonstrator booths. I just love this part of Convention where you get to watch demonstrators do real demos of new product and techniques.

If you would like to get a better view of the projects just double click on each photo for a larger view.

As you can tell... it was a jam packed week. It's no wonder it took me a couple of days to recover!! LOL!

I'll be back with more to share tomorrow!

Convention Highlights!!!

Well.. I'm home but I can't say I'm rested! LOL! That's what Convention is all about..excitement..LOTS of it!! .... and very little sleep.

This year, Convention was absolutely exceptional!!! Shelli promised last year at Convention that this year would be about change and boy did she deliver!! It all started with leadership in January. My friends and I were blown away with how well Leadership went and all the goodies we came home with! We knew that this year's Convention would also be good!! Excuse me... GREAT!!!!

My mind is still reeling with excitement at all the "stuff" we got and how wonderful the make and takes were, the plus one classes, the projects on mainstage and in the demo booths, the display boards, did I mention the free stuff???

Check out all the stamps I came home with from the NEW Catalogue!!!

I love the Convention business bag that we got this year! It sure does hold a lot!!

Then.... there was Momento Mall..... one of my favorite things about Convention!! LOL! We waited in line for over an hour to get in, bit it was worth the wait! Check out all the goodies I got... My picture shows just one of every item but you can be sure that I purchased multiples of many of these items. Great door prizes and incentive gifts for my team!!!

Well, I have about 650 pictures that I took at Convention!! Stay tuned as I can't wait to share many of these on my blog with you.

If you would like to get a little "feel" of what it's like to attend Convention, watch this video which features the Convention theme of "GROW" I can't get this song out of my head LOL!!! Love it!!

If you would like to get in on all the fun and join me at Convention next year, all you have to do is purchase the starter kit! It's that easy!! You don't need to run a business, you can be a hobby demo or a career demo or anything in between!!

Honestly folks, this company is amazing to work for and I can't imagine doing anything else. They are so supportive and they reward their demonstrators in many ways other that just a paycheck... no doubt that's fun too .. to get paid for doing what you LOVE!! Pinch me I must be dreaming!! Oh, did I mention the wonderful trips around the world you can earn??? They just announced that the next incentive trip is going to be to FIJI !!! If you sign up now, you too could earn this all expense paid trip for two!! Many people earn their first incentive trip in their first year of being a demo!!

The best part for you is that there is a wonderful promo on the starter kit right now and you can sign up for just $119.00. Hurry! this promotion is only on until July 31st!!

You can read all about what comes in this promotional starter kit here.

I'll be back tomorrow with some more pictures of all the fun!!!

Have a great evening!!!
