October 2013

Bootiful Occasions

Today I have a flash back project for you!

Have you seen these fun Lolli-Pop witches brooms? They are so simple to make using the kraft colored Coffee filters.

The lollipop is inside and I just used a black sharpie to color the stick.

I love that this set is still in the catalogue! Check out all the fun images...

 I love all these images!

Here's my tip for this set. When I got my new set, I cut the rubber underneath each boot and separated the greeting from the image. I'm a wood mount fan so I just mounted mine in the bottom of my block. This way you can stamp the image and the greeting separately with ease.

Thanks for checking back today!!

Festive Flurry Tag a Bag gift box

Thank you so much for reading all my past posts with the 14 reasons to join Stampin up!

I am so thrilled to have 7 new team members! Welcome everyone! We are going to have so much fun together! I am excited to teach you and guide you on your new creative adventure!

I have a fun project to share using the new Festive Flurry Framelits and stamp set bundle. I've decorated the top of one of the awesome Tag a Bag Gift boxes. I just love these boxes wuth their strong plastic sleeve. I've used these for candy, gift cards and many other small gifts.

Here's a look at the inside when you open the sleeve...

I used the Festive Flurry bundle to make the snowflake on this project.I just stamped the smowflake in Bermuda Bay and use the co-ordinating framelit to cut it out. Then I used two framelits together to make the outside edge with Silver Glimmer paper. I just love how these framelits work together! so much fun!

I also used the Gorgeous Grunge stamps set on the background to make the splatter effect with both Bermuda Bay and White ink.

I hope you like today's project!

Reason Number 13: Stampin Start Earn free stamps and cash bonuses!

So you can see, that with just one workshop or class each month, you can be well on your way to earning all these bonuses! The best part is, you will have me to help you along the way! I will even do your first workshop for you, if you like, and you get all the income and rewards! It's a win, win for you!

If you keep going, you could even be Stampin up!'s next Rising Star!

Oh, my so much good stuff...lets keep going...

 Reason number 14: Incentive Trips!!!

Who doesn't love a free trip!! Stampin up! has two trips every year that you can earn. There's the Getaway vacation and the Grand vacation. At first when I signed up, I thought these trips were out of reach for me. But after attending my first Leadership Conference, I quickly learned how attainable they were even to little ol' me!!  :)

So far, I have earned one Getaway vacation to Hilton Head Island and two Grand Vacations...one to Hawaii and the other to Walt Disney World resort! Stampin up! treats you like GOLD on these trips. Your airfare and shuttles are all organized for you, stay in a very nice 5 star hotel, take part organized events and outings (if you like) ,get tons of free product,  and my favorite is the Pillow gift they leave on your bed each night when you return to the hotel! Even my kids were excited about this!!

I sure hope you will join me in all the fun stuff Stampin up! has to offer it's demonstrators!

A very special card and reasons 11&12 why you should sign up!

I was asked to make a very special retirement card. I was honored and up for the challenge! I wanted it to be a 'bigger" card, as retirement is kind of a BIG deal! LOL! This card is a full sheet of cardstock scored at 51/2, so it measures 51/2 x 81/4 inches.

Heres what I came up with...

This card was for a special lady who loves butterflies. I think they fit in nicely with a retirement card!

Flying freely.....

Here's a look at the inside..

I hope you like today's card and as promised... back to my reasons why I think you should sign up to be a demonstrator! remebet the deal is only on until tomorrow (October 21st)

Reason #11: FREE Training!

Did you know that as a demonstrator you will have access to hundreds of videos, picture tutorials, webinars and more to help you get started? Even if you've never stamped before, you will have a wealth of knowledge at your finger tips to help you learn soo much wonderful stuff! Not to mention, you will have ME!! Yes, I will be your very own personal coach and friend along the way. I am always here to answer your questions, meet with you in person or what ever way you would like me to support you. I will even do your first workshop for you if you'd like. I will do the whole thing, you just sit and observe and you will get the sales! I like to do this for my new recruits to help them get started. I also hold a monthly team meeting where we all meet and share ideas, stamp and of course eat yummy snacks and visit. It's a great way to see what others are doing in their business and I have a nice mix of both hobby demonstrators and business minded demonstrators too. What a great way to support your hobby! Join us today!

Reason #12: Great Rewards!

Of course you already know the obvious rewards, a discount on your products,an extra 5% cash bonus at the end of the month if your sales are over $525. (this percentage goes up as your sales go up too!)

Did you know that Stampin up has a program called "Great Rewards"? This is a point redemption program where you get one point for every dollar that you sell. You also get 325 points for each time someone in your first level (your direct recruits) promotes.

Your points are awarded at the end of each quarter and you can then redeem them for select items from the catalogue, or even a cash cheque! More FREE stuff and cash too! SWEET!!!

Demonstrators who set appropriate goals to achieve Great Rewards prizes each quarter will find a smoother path to their next promotion, will enjoy higher personal earnings, and will keep themselves on track to earn the annual incentive trip!

So are you ready? It's so easy to join! Click here to get started! Don't wait this amazing deal is only on until tomorrow October 21st.

Christmas Collectibles and Reason number 11!!

Happy Friday! Today I have another Christmas card to share. This one is a quick and easy card featuring the new Ornament stamp set, called Christmas Collectibles.

I love these ornaments! I especially love that you can punch them out so easily with the Christmas ornament punch. Add a small scallop circle of silver glimmer paper, a basic pearl on top and just one tiny dimensional underneath gives it all the "pop" it needs. Here's a closeup...

Here's a look at the whole stamp set and it's co-ordinating punch.Did you know that if you buy both together as a bundle, you save 15%? Sweet!!!

Ok... now on to REASON NUMBER ELEVEN for why you should sign up for the $25 starter kit before Monday, October 12st!

Here it is:

REASON NUMBER 11: Friendship!

Yep, that's right! Friendship! I can't even being to try and count the number of wonderful friends I've met in the last 11 years of being a demonstrator! From customers, to hostesses, to recruits, to fellow demonstrators, the list is endless!

I cherish all the friends I have made along the way and I feel truly blessed to have such amazing people in my life.

One of the places I have had the pleasure of meeting other demonstrators is at our annual Stampin up! Convention in Salt lake city. I'd like to share a few photos of our last Convention in July of this year. Stampin up! celebrates it's 25th Anniversary this year and almost 6000 demonstrators gathered for this event.

My good friend and teammate, Christine!

Recognition room...Christine and I "earned" our exclusive right to relax in this room because of our annual sales of over $20,000 last year! Yahoo!! Big thanks to all my wonderful customers! You truly are the best!

Here's a shot of me with my new 25th Anniversary Convention bag! Love it!!! Did you know each year at Convention all attendees get an exclusive new bag? So exciting!

Thanks for checking back today and I hope you will visit my blog again soon!

Snow Day and Reason number 10!

I hope I didn't scare you! It's not really a "Snow Day" (yet!) but this stamp set sure would make a snow day lots of fun! I can't get enough of this smile! Isn't he cute?

The background of this card was stamped with one of my absolute favorite stamp sets in the main catalogue called Gorgeous Grunge. This set is so versatile! It's my "go-to" set for backgrounds for sure! It's great for masculine, feminne, and all occasions too.

The colors I've used here are Cherry Cobbler and Pool Party. I just love these colors together! Notice the alternating colors on the chevron strip? That's a new punch called The Chevron Border Punch. I just punched a bunch of the chevron shapes in both Pool Party and Cherry cobbler Cardstock and then adhered them to the cardstock with my snail adhesive. Underneath is a tiny 1/4 inch strip of Silver Glimmer paper just to add a hint of bling.

Here's a close up...

To add another touch of bling, I added just a tiny dot of Dazzling Details (glitter adhesive) to the middle of the snowflakes in the background. Did you know that Stampin up! sells Dazzling Details in three different colors? Cherry Cobbler, Clear (seen here) and Silver Sparkle.

It's time for Reason Number 10 why you should sign up to be a demonstrator before October 21st! Here it goes...

REASON NUMBER 10: Order brand new products a month early!!

Yep! that's one of the many "perks" of being a demonstrator. We get to pre-order from all the new catalogues a month early! That allows us time to prepare samples for classes and workshops and to plan how we would like to promote a particular product. I just love this advantage! Who would'nt love to get their hands on all the latest and greatest things for their hobby a whole month early?

I'm starting to think I won't be able to stop at just 14 reasons as to why it's a good idea to sign up for this 14 day promotion on the starter kit! As if the $25 deal wasn't good enough already!

Hope your having a great day and you will come back and visit me tomorrow.

Joyful Christmas and Reason number 9!

Happy Wednesday to you!

Today's card has so much shine, it was hard to even get a picture! Seriously! The silver embossing on the petals of this poinsettia, the strip of silver glimmer paper and the strip of new sliver foil paper, really makes this card shine!

The poinsettia was inked with versamark and stamped onto a piece of cardstock vellum. It was then covered with Silver embossing powder and heat set to a wonderful shine. I just used my paper snips to cut out the flower. I attached it to my card with a single stampin dimensional and added a tiny punch out of glimmer paper using the little scallop from the Itty Bitty shapes Punch pack. In the centre is a tiny 1/8 inch sliver mini brad.

The background is embossed with the new Stylish Stripes embossing folder.

Like this card? This is one of the cards the ladies in my stamper's club will be doing for October. Come along and join us for club night tomorrow (Thursday, Oct 17th) or next Wednesday, October 23rd. There's still room to join and we do three free projects every month! E-mail me at rosecoleman@shaw.ca if you'd like to check it out!

Ok, onto REASON NUMBER 9 why you should join the Stampin up! family for just $25.

MDS!!! that's MY DIGITAL STUDIO!! Have you tried Stampin up!'s digital design software? Oh my gosh! It's so much fun to create digitally and extremely user friendly too!!

You may be asking yourself "Why does this make it a good reason to be a demonstrator? Well, if you are at home creating digital projects such as scrapbooks, calendars, cards etc, why not get your demo discount on ALL your downloads and print projects? Happy Thanksgiving and Reasons number 7 & 8!

It's been a busy few days around here but in a very good way. In Canada, this was our Thanksgiving weekend and boy do I have a lot to be thankful for! I am thankful for my health, my family, my friends, and the freedom to have choices in life.

Much of that freedom is because I live in Canada but on a more personal level, I have freedom because I am a Stampin up! demostrator. Yes, being a demsonstrator has allowed me to choose when I work and how much I work. I work around the days that work for my family and when we have hectic times like final exams for my son (who is now in grade 12), I don't schedule events. It's as simple as that. You work when you want to work.

So, I guess you can guess that leads me to Reason Number 7... FREEDOM. By the way, at this point I should mention that none of my 14 reasons are in any particular order. If I had to put them in order, this would probably be number 1!

Let jump right into ...Reason number 8...Customer service.

Stampin up! will go the extra mile to make sure it's customers ( and demonstrators) are happy. Most of the orders I receive are perfect! Nothing missed, and all products in perfect condition. However, sometimes when there's an accident, like the corners of a package of cardstock gets bent or something along those lines, I'll call them and they don't hesitate to just send a new one! I've heard dozens of stories from both my downline and fellow demonstrators about how demo support has gone above and beyond to fix a problem. I think that's a really good thing to constantly hear stories like this, and it makes me proud to work for a company that values customer service!

There's just 6 more days to join this amazing company for just $25. Click here to join!

I'm sure you stopped by for some creative inspiration... how about a Thanksgiving card?

Here are the specs on this card:

  • Stamps: Truly Grateful Wood 131730 Clear 131733, Tags 4 You Wood 131820 Clear 131823
  • Cardstock: Sahara Sand, Tangerine Tango
  • Ink: Sahara Sand, Early Espresso, Versamark
  • DSP: Sweater Weather
  • Other: Eraly Espresso Embossing Powder

I hope you like today's card and I also hope you will consider Reason's number 7 & 8 as one of your reason to join the Stampin up! family!

Every second month, we recieve a wonderful magazine in the mail called Stampin Success. There are articles featuring beautiful projects created by fellow demonstrators, who share their talents so willingly.

On the website, we have a section called "YOU DID IT" where anyone can click and see who has made Stampin Start, earned awards, an Annual Getaway , or the Incentive trip! There's so much more to eran than just money in this business!!!

At this event , leaders learn how to encourage their team members  how to build a successful business. There's always swapping and sharing of ideas, and of course tons of Free product giveaways here to!! I LOVE going to Leadership!

 Founder's Circle:

This is a wonderful event that Stampin up! holds to reward it's top performing demonstrators in North America. They are taken to an amazing resort in St Geroge's Utah and they have the whole place to themselves! They get to be up close and personal with Shelli herself and they are truly pampered! I would LOVE to make it to Founder's Circle someday!!
