October Club Projects

Today I have a quick post of our October Stamping club projects. We usually do 2 cards and a 3-D project, but this month I was so excited about all the fun stuff in the holiday catalogue... I just had to do 3 cards.:)  I will show the 3-D project on my blog tomorrow.

The middle card is an exact case of Deb Valder's Diamond Accordian fold card. I just love this fun fold and the back is designed too with a place for your greeting or a family picture would work well here too. The Merry card was inspired by a fellow demo on Stampin Connections ( a website exclusive to Stampin up! demos) but I don't remember her name.  If it's you let me know and I'll give you credit here.

Check out the awesome Champagne glimmer paper! I seem to be going through this like water . Love it!!!

I still have a few spots open in my stamping clubs. If your interested in joining us here are the next few times where you can come along and do these projects. They are FREE for club members every month!!

  •  tonight (Wednesday, October 24t)  7-9pm
  • tomorrow afternoon (Thursday, October 25th) 1-3pm
  • tomorrow evening (Thursday, October 25th)  7-9pm

Like the projects but don't want to join a club? Come along to the class and complete all 4 projects for a class fee of $12. RSVP required.

Hope your having a great day!!

My swap cards and more New Clubs!!!!

 Hi there!

Today, I would like to share my Convention swap cards with you! This year, I made two different cards. One for Halloween and one for Christmas. I really liked this layout which is from Mojo Monday a while back. I love how you can get a different look just by changing out the designer series paper and the stamp set.

My first card uses the new Halloween Stamp set from the Holiday catalogue called "Googly Ghouls". I just love this set, especially with the googly eye embellishments! The cardstock colors are Basic Black, Basic Grey, and the designer series paper is from the Howlstooth and Scaringbone package. I also used the Spiderweb Embossing folder on the black piece of cardstock. Then I sponged some Whisper White craft ink over top of the raised portion of the web to make it pop.

Using the same layout,  here's a Christmas version using my favorite new Christmas set from the main catalogue. It's called No Peeking and there are some really cute images in this set. You will definitely see more cards and pages on my blog with this set!! For this card, the cardstock colors are Cherry Cobbler and  Gumball Green (love this new in color). The designer series paper is from the package called "Be of Good Cheer". I stamped the penguin in Stazon and the again in Gumball green and Cherry Cobbler and I cut out his hat and scarf and "Paper peiced" them over top of the penguin. I also stamped the greeting in Cherry cobbler and then again in Gumball green and I used the 1/2 inch circle punch to punch out the wreath and attched it over top of the greeting.

I had so much fun making these cards, I think I may put these in my upcoming Stamp-A-Stack and card buffet classes.

Which brings me to the second part of my post! I am so excited about my clubs that are starting up again in September. This year, I have some new and different clubs to offer. Take a look at the descriptions and let me know if you would like to join one. If you bring a friend to join the club with you, there will be a special gift for both you and your friend!

I will also have a table of retired designer series paper and surprises each month just for you to help you design more layouts! The cost to join this club is a monthy catalogue purchase of $35.00. This class will be limited to just 6 people so that everyone can have their own table and room to "spread out" for the evening.

In this club you will enjoy a Free class each month where I will focus on Big Shot projects. You will go home with 3 fun projects. No worries, sign up for this club and I will give you 20% off the cost of the Big shot back  in product of your choice! The cost of this club is a monthly purchase of $35 and we will start as soon as we have 6 people interested.
  • Baby's first year Scrapbook Club!  There's nothing more special than your baby's first year and why not capture all those special first for your baby by scrapbooking them? No worries just let me know and I can send you the project, plus the cost of shipping.

Thanks for checking back today and if your interested in any of my clubs or you have a few friends and you'd like to start your very own private club, I'd love to hear from you!!

Windmill card..

Today I have a windmill card to share with you!! This is so much fun to do with just a 3x3 piece of designer series paper! You just cut straight lines in from the corners and fold back each flap that you make. Put a button on the middle and voila... a fun windmill!

This card was cased almost exactly from a swap card I got from Jennifer Magreevy. We are doing this card in my clubs this month, as well as my card buffet classes! If your interested in joining us please see the schedule at the top and let me know when you'd like to attend!

I hope your having a great day!!!!

Card buffet class!!

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, I am excited to bring  buffet classes to my class list!! Today I have another one to show you!

This one is all cards and they feature some really cool new stamps, designer series paper, and embellishments from both the Occasions mini and the Sale-A-Bration mini!! These cards were designed by some of my fellow demonstrators as swap cards and I am excited to share them with you!! Your gonna love these!!

I don't have the names of all the designers, but I do know that my friend Kristine Burns designed the popsicle one and I designed the "Z-fold one with the three tiny butterflies at the bottom.

So the way the class works is .... if you are interested you pay a $5.00 registration fee. Then you let me know which cards and how many you would like to do. That way you can be sure when you get here that I will have enough cardstock cut and the supplies all ready for you. The cards will be $2.50 each and you just pay for what you make. If you place a $20.00 order on the day of class your $5.00 registration fee will be deducted from your order.

There will be a $2.50 charge for each card you complete (sometimes the price will be different depending on the project) and if you place a minimun $20 order on the day of the class your $5.00 registration fee will be deducted from your order.

I'll be doing a couple of buffet classes this month and the first one will be a  Valentine's class.

Here are a couple of the pictures of the projects you can do at this class:

Chocolate treat bag holder, wine bottle tag, and love you card...

Check out the crystal effects to make the strawberries look like they were dipped in chocolate!!

Happy Monday!!

Hi there!

I hope you had a great weekend! Mine was busy but so much fun! :)

On Saturday, myself and 5 of my team members attended Regionals in Edmonton. It was a quick trip but it was fun to see everyone and all the cool demonstrations, display boards, and I love the swaps I came home with too. :)

I made a little gfit for the girls in my downline who went to Regionals. These were made from designer file folders that I just trimmed down and scored. I attached a Stampin up! pen to the side and included a pad of paper for the inside and a little magnetic book mark.

Here's a look at the inside...

Masculine cards...

Hi there!

Today I would like to share with you the cards we made at my Masculine Stamp-A-Stack class.

I was inspired by my fellow demo friends on Stampin Connections for the ideas for these cards. :) I don't remember who specifically designed each one but if you did, let me know and I'd be happy to give you credit here!

I had so much fun with the ladies at this class! Each person went home with 2 each of these 5 different designs. So 10 cards in total! They've got their masculine "stash" of cards for Father's day and birthdays coming up!

Need a card for Father's day this weekend? I have several of these already made up! If you see a card here that you like, contact me and if you live in the area you are wecolme to pop by and purchase for just $3 each.

I hope your having a great day!!

Hi there!

Today I have some fun Roses to share with you from my Spring Flowers class that I did last week! I had such a great time with all the ladies who came over to make these flowers. :)

The girls could choose any combination for their  6 flowers which included these roses as well as the Gerber Daisies too. These roses are all made using the ornament punch! Yes !! ...the Christmas ornamnet punch!! Now it can be used all year long! :) Whoo Hoo!!

Here's a close up of the Very Vanilla Rose with the edges sponged with melon Mambo ink...

I've had many requests to do this class again. :) So, for those of you who couldn't make it ... stay tuned I will be having another flower making night!! Hope to see you there!
